Job Description:
This position is for an Application Development Manager to manage and mentor alongside an agile development team. This person will be responsible for managing code development for all projects within the team. 
Technical Experience:
Experience leading an agile development team.
Preferred experience managing development teams working on global applications
Experience developing in ASP.Net / C#.
Experience gathering and authoring requirements associated with non-functional code and environment management processes.
Experience coordinating software build and release procedures.
Experience managing and coordinating test environments.
Experience coordinating with other teams to resolve issues and manage releases.
Demonstrated ability to conduct and/or lead discussions with Business partners and Senior Technology Leadership
Must be able to interact with and present to individuals of varying technical ability ranging from developers, users, senior IT leadership and business users.
Agile/Scrum experience
Demonstrated ability and success using problem-solving skills


Capabilities:
Lead development in a public facing environment using ASP.Net, C#, SQL Server and other Microsoft technologies.
Ensure project standards, methodology and best practices are followed and consistently applied 
Resolve team issues and mitigate risks 
Manage project scope, budget and change control process 
Assist with analysis, design, development, testing, system documentation and user training 
Maintain relationships with key business and IT stakeholders and manage expectations 
Analyze outside vendor products 
Provide periodic status reports to senior management 
Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of business processes and applications, customer needs and priorities

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent 
2-4 years experience as an IT manager in an IT software development environment 
2+ years experience running projects using agile processes 
Superior communication skills 
Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience 
Ability to adapt to a dynamic, rapidly changing business and technical environment 
Ability to maintain confidentiality 
Proficient in ASP.Net, SQL Server development, C#, Javascript, HTML, and CSS.

• Develop solutions for difficult system designs with company that is growing globally.
• Create/review system designs 
• Identify conflicts and risks and proactively escalate them to resolve issues
• Work with project team to lock down the scope and to define deliverables for the development team

• Deliver on time project deliverables
• Excellent Communication - Written and Verbal and at all levels of the organization
