Ms. Gutierrez, the company’s Chief Executive Officer, designed Hide-A-Port after her youngest child was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in November 2011. Her mission was to make improved clothing for patients with medical devices to fulfill the need for a method to facilitate certain medical procedures. It would help patients retain their dignity while also allowing convenient access. In addition, it would prevent the destruction of the patients clothing.
